We may be past the biggest part of the artic blast. It has been above freezing for two days. It was in single digits overnight many nights. I finally got my vehicle out from the icy snowplow berm, it had been unmovable for fifteen days.
Ten inches of fluffy snow covered by three inches of sleet and frozen rain…
Apart from missing an ENT appointment and the concern for grocery essentials and potential loss of power it’s been easy for me to stay here in the treehouse. This is my favorite time of year and my favorite month♥️, it’s my birthday month as well as my mother’s and her father’s. February is the month of love♥️. Love ♥️ seems to be going around! It’s my time to design, cut and sew.

I’ve been hunkered down producing garments from vintage textiles, I am in preparation for one of the biggest shows of the year, Round Top Antique Festival March 2026. The show officially opens 12 March. I’ll be there February 25 setting and propping for the event. I am looking forward to seeing everyone, other vendors and clients♥️.
Round Top Royalty…
Round Top has been our one of our biggest shows since the early 90’s. I see friends and clients from all over the world. The official opening is March 12. I’ll be arriving at Bar W Field on February 25. We’ll be selling to early buyers and vendors who won’t be able to get out after the official opening day.

Round Top Antique Fair was founded by the fabulous Emma Lee Turney over fifty years ago. Round Top has a population of around ninety, but during the show over a hundred thousand visitors will descend on the country fields. The perfect mix of buying and selling for all enthusiasts.
Downtown Round Top…
I have two more Thursdays to do hair and only a handful of days left to have the vehicle serviced before the twenty-four hour drive to Round Top. I’ll be designing, cutting and sewing coats, dresses and pants and continue to do so (sew) after I get set up on the Main Driveway at Bar W.

You can visit me on the Main Driveway a block past the office on the right hand side at the fork in the road. There will be a ten foot farm table covered with rural mailboxes in the front yard of my tent, (unless they are all sold before you get there).

This spring show to be announced. Just as I was about to publish this Beth sent word that the Vintage Renegade Runway Fashion Show will be held at Zapp Hall March 19 at 7:30 — See you there!!!♥️
